"You can find me somewhere in between inspiring others, working on myself, dodging negativity, and slaying my goals"
Hey there, I'm Brittney!
As silly as it sounds, I didn't grow up wanting to be a hairstylist. I had my eyes set on other career paths that people expected of me. (Don't we all?) Fun fact, my career path started out in law enforcement. After a year at college and on the job experience, I started to realize that this wasn't my intended path and got me thinking about careers I could see myself in. I always remember admiring the creativity and self expression that people in the beauty industry possessed. In 2011, I started my journey as a hair dresser and enrolled in Paul Mitchell the school Dallas. Hair school felt so natural to me after years of struggling to find my niche.
I moved to the Crystal Coast a year ago from Dallas, TX and this little beach town has stolen my heart. I wanted to find a salon home that was passionate about genuinely connecting with people and strived to create a space for people to practice self care while feeling beautiful and valued. Salon Indigo has been the perfect home for me.
When I'm not behind the chair, nothing makes me happier than spending time with my 7 year old, Harper. We enjoy long days at the beach and exploring new places to eat. I am a self proclaimed charcuterie connoisseur so if you are a fellow foodie then I'm your girl! I have another confession...I am a coffee addict. As in my daily cup of joe is made up mostly of espresso and I wouldn't have it any other way. Want to talk the latest in hair color blonding techniques with a side of Bravo? Reality tv is a total guilty pleasure of mine and we can chat Housewives while I careful select face framing highlights.
So, if your looking for a place to feel heard, cared for and beautiful, I would love to have you as a guest in my chair!
